Baseball Recap: Highland's Undefeated Season over After 15 Games

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Highland finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Gosnell Pirates by a score of 3-1. The game marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Highland saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Sinclair, who went 1-for-3 with one double. That double was Sinclair's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Highland fell to 14-1. As for Gosnell, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

While Highland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
