Sameri Cooper Game Report: @ North Lenoir

Sameri Cooper posted a new career-high in hits on Wednesday. She scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season.

Coming up, Cooper and SouthWest Edgecombe will welcome Eastern Wayne at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Cooper's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Cougars' three-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Cooper and the Cougars surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Friday's match.
