Softball Recap: Legacy Comes Up Short

Legacy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Memorial Mavericks, falling 15-3.

Legacy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leah Sanchez, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Legacy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Memorial, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-14.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Legacy is set to square off against their familiar foe Cooper at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Memorial will take on rival Wylie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
