Sunrise Mountain waltzed into their game on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the Desert Edge Scorpions 8-0. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Desert Edge from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Jace Hellbusch led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Sunrise Mountain pushed their record up to 14-2-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those five contests. As for Desert Edge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7-1.

Sunrise Mountain will be playing at home against Willow Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sunrise Mountain knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Willow Canyon likes a good challenge.
