Baseball Recap: Missouri Military Academy Comes Up Short

Missouri Military Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the South Shelby Cardinals. The Fighting Colonels were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cardinals from their previous meeting back in April of 2021.

Missouri Military Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for South Shelby, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-9 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Missouri Military Academy will welcome Van-Far at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Shelby, they will square off against Louisiana at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.6 runs per game on average), something the Cardinals will no doubt try to take advantage of.
