Soccer Recap: North Myrtle Beach Comes Up Short

North Myrtle Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the St. James Sharks, falling 8-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as North Myrtle Beach were already down 6-0.

North Myrtle Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for St. James, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Myrtle Beach will welcome Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something North Myrtle Beach surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. James, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Philip Simmons at 7:30 p.m. on the 29th.
