Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Irvington). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Burlington Township Falcons on Monday, sneaking past 69-67. That's two games straight that the Blue Knights have won by exactly two points.

Despite the loss, Burlington Township still got an impressive performance from Baron Davis, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 boards. That's the most points Davis has posted since back in January. Andrew Larbie was another key player, putting up 13 points and five rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Irvington and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Burlington Township, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

After both having extra time off, Irvington and East Side will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 1:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Burlington Township and Millville will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Burlington Township is facing Millville at the right time seeing as Millville is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
