Soccer Game Preview: Miller School of Albemarle vs. North Cross

Miller School of Albemarle hasn't had much luck against North Cross recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Mavericks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Raiders at 4:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Miller School of Albemarle is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Friday, they were much more limited against Virginia Episcopal School on Monday. They lost 5-0 to the Bishops.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last four games, North Cross finally came back down to earth on Friday. They came up short against The Covenant, falling 7-0. North Cross haven't had much luck with The Covenant recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Miller School of Albemarle's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for North Cross, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-3-1.
