Basketball Recap: Hooker Takes a Loss

Hooker was the 48-41 winner over Riverside Indian when they last played one another back in February of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell 38-26 to the Braves on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while the Braves are ranked 29th).

Hooker has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season. As for Riverside Indian, they pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home.

While Hooker had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
