Baseball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison was the 9-6 winner over Holmes when they last played one another back in February of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Edison Golden Bears came up short against the Holmes Huskies on Thursday, falling 10-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Golden Bears have suffered since March 1, 2024.

Edison saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Samaad Bunch, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Having lost for the first time this season, Edison fell to 2-1. As for Holmes, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-5.

Edison has already played their next game, a 5-0 loss against Devine on the 27th. As for Holmes, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 8-4 defeat against LEE on the 27th.
