Soccer Game Preview: Lake Region vs. U-32

Lake Region hasn't had much luck against U-32 recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Rangers will look to defend their home pitch against the Raiders at 11:00 a.m.

Lake Region is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Vermont's top teams: Spaulding, who was ranked 22nd at the time (Lake Region was ranked 25th). The Rangers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crimson Tide on Monday.

Meanwhile, U-32 waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They never let the Hurricanes get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Considering U-32 have won three matches by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

U-32's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Lake Region, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3-1.
