Capac is a perfect 4-0 against Harbor Beach since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Chiefs will head out to take on the Pirates at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses dating back to last season for Capac and four for Harbor Beach.

Deckerville hit Capac with a seven-run first inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Chiefs lost 13-3 to the Eagles.

Capac saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karina Ramierez, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those stolen bases were Ramierez's first of the season. Another was Chloe Schocke, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Harbor Beach came up short against Peck on Tuesday, falling 23-3.

Harbor Beach's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Capac, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Capac took their win against Harbor Beach when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chiefs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
