Soccer Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Lee was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They lost 10-0 to the Abingdon Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Abingdon this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 last Tuesday.

Lee's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Abingdon, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lee is set to face off against their familiar foe Gate City at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Abingdon will take on rival Union at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
