Baseball Recap: Pendleton's Run of 11 Straight Victories Now Over

After a string of 11 wins, Pendleton's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kamiakin Braves. The Buckaroos were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the nine matchups prior), but the Braves' pitchers proved too tough.

Pendleton's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Kamiakin, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-2.

Pendleton has already played their next game, a 6-5 victory against Baker/Powder Valley on the 7th. As for Kamiakin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mead at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
