Centralia got themselves on the board against South Shelby on Thursday, but South Shelby never followed suit. They blew past the Cardinals 12-0. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won four matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Centralia got a big performance out of Chase Kempker, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2. That's the most hits Kempker has posted over his last ten games. Anthony Ford was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Centralia's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-5. As for South Shelby, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coming up, Centralia will face off against Eldon at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for South Shelby, they will square off against Paris at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
