Football Game Preview: Rancocas Valley Red Devils vs. Williamstown Braves

The Rancocas Valley Red Devils will challenge the Williamstown Braves at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Rancocas Valley is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Jersey's top teams: Camden, who was ranked 12th at the time (Rancocas Valley was ranked 22nd). The Red Devils fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 8-6 on Friday. The matchup marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Williamstown played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Washington Township and fell 38-7. The Braves haven't had much luck with the Minutemen recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Williamstown's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Rancocas Valley, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Everything went Rancocas Valley's way against Williamstown in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Rancocas Valley made off with a 28-7 victory. Will the Red Devils repeat their success, or do the Braves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
