Volleyball Recap: Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate Triumphs

Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate won the last time they faced Universal Academy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Phoenix walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Falcons. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Phoenix.

The win didn't come easy: Universal Academy scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-18, 27-29, 25-23.

Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Universal Academy, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate will venture away from home to take on Winthrop College Prep Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Universal Academy, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Riverview Academy of Math and Science at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
