Volleyball Game Preview: Chardon Hilltoppers vs. North Rangers

The Chardon Hilltoppers will square off against the North Rangers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Chardon managed to slip by Mentor the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Hilltoppers lost 3-0 to the Cardinals on Saturday.

Chardon was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring zero points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Meanwhile, North had just enough and edged out Kenston 3-2 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rangers.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (109-101) North actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 13-25, 25-19, 19-25, 25-23, 19-17.

Chardon dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for North, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
