Basketball Recap: Lamar's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lamar waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by an 80-59 margin over the Cossatot River Eagles. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lamar to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ben Noonan, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds. Noonan's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Kade Boen was another key player, putting up 19 points and five boards.

Lamar smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in six consecutive games.

Lamar's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Cossatot River, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.

Lamar will host Subiaco Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. Cossatot River has already played their next match (against Mount Ida), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
