Makaylee Gantt gave up the fewest hits she has since back in February on Thursday. She wasn't messing around, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). The pitching appearance was her ninth straight with six or more strikeouts.

Gantt and Highland Tech will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Forestview at 5:00 p.m. on May 1.
