Caledonia posted their closest win since May 14, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the St. Charles Fighting Saints 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Fighting Saints: they've now won eight in a row.

Garrett Konz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, Tyson Ginther was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Caledonia now has a winning record of 4-3. As for St. Charles, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Coming up, Caledonia will challenge Wabasha-Kellogg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Charles, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Lewiston-Altura at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
