Softball Recap: David Douglas Comes Up Short

David Douglas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They lost 8-2 to the Reynolds Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-3 back in April.

David Douglas' loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Reynolds, their victory ended a 23-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-18.

David Douglas didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-0 defeat against Central Catholic on the 20th. As for Reynolds, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-0 loss against Clackamas on the 20th.
