Preview: West Broward Bobcats vs. Coconut Creek Cougars
West Broward has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Coconut Creek Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Broward will be strutting in after a win while Coconut Creek will be coming in after a loss.
West Broward scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 73-30 victory over Hialeah-Miami Lakes at home. With West Broward ahead 41-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Meanwhile, Coconut Creek's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 50-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Coral Springs Charter.
The win got West Broward back to even at 7-7. As for Coconut Creek, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-14.
Everything came up roses for West Broward against Coconut Creek in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 77-50 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Coconut Creek's Darien Woody, who scored 23 points along with three steals.
