Basketball Recap: Cooper Takes a Loss

Cooper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Episcopal Knights and fell 70-38. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 911th, while the Knights are ranked 158th).

Cooper's defeat dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Episcopal, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Cooper has already played their next game (against The Awty International), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Episcopal will face off against CHSA HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
