Poyen came into Tuesday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over the Parkers Chapel Trojans on Tuesday. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

Poyen's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-7. As for Parkers Chapel, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Looking ahead, Poyen will head out on the road to square off against Ouachita at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Parkers Chapel, they will head out to take on Magnet Cove at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trojans are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
