Meanwhile, Yosemite sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Clovis East on Thursday.
Yosemite took Clovis East into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 24-26, 22-25, 25-17, 15-8.
Mission Oak now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Yosemite, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.
