Volleyball Recap: Cienega Takes a Loss

Cienega was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monument Valley Mustangs.

Cienega's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Monument Valley, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 13-5 record.

Coming up, Cienega will square off against Pueblo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Monument Valley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against ALA - Gilbert North on the 20th.
