Soccer Game Preview: Satellite vs. Eau Gallie + Official Tickets

For the first time this season, Satellite will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out on the road to face off against the Eau Gallie Commodores at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Satellite managed to keep up with Viera until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Scorpions lost 3-0 to the Hawks. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, Satellite's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Satellite was without their leading scorer, Owen Franklin, in Friday's matchup. With Franklin sitting this one out, Sean Hargreaves got some extra time on the pitch (80 vs. his season average of 53.3).

Meanwhile, Eau Gallie's contest on Wednesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. Everything went their way against Palm Bay as they made off with a 4-1 victory. The game was the first time Eau Gallie have beaten Palm Bay on their pitch since November 13, 2019.

Eau Gallie hit Palm Bay with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from John Adams (2), Jayden Petrae, and Juan Guevara.

Eau Gallie's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Satellite, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1-1.

Satellite was able to grind out a solid victory over Eau Gallie in their previous matchup back in January, winning 2-0. Do the Scorpions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Commodores turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
