Volleyball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They came up short against the LaBrae Vikings, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11, 25-14.

Kennedy Malone paced Liberty's offense, picking up six kills. Malone got some help from Saffron Blank and her seven assists. Danelle Coleman controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for LaBrae, they pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Liberty will challenge rival Champion at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, LaBrae is set to take on their familiar foe Southeast at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
