Baseball Recap: Oakwood Takes a Loss

The Oakwood Owls came up short against the Saugus Centurions on Wednesday, falling 17-4. The Owls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oakwood's record now sits at 10-3. As for Saugus, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oakwood will take on Providence at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pioneers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Owls' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Saugus, they will face off against Chatsworth at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
