Baldwin had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They never let the Albert Gallatin Colonials get on the board and left with  a   17-0  win. Considering the Highlanders have won five games by more than six  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Reese Temme was  incredible,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  four  hits gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mackenzie Bowen, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-2.
 Baldwin was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .577. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
Baldwin's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 8-1. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Albert Gallatin,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-3.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Baldwin will  face off against  rival Bethel Park  at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Meanwhile, Albert Gallatin is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Thomas Jefferson  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
