Football Preview: Southwest Legacy Titans vs. Cigarroa Toros        
        
		
             The Southwest Legacy Titans will challenge the Cigarroa Toros at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many  points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
 Southwest Legacy is probably headed into the  game with a chip on their shoulder considering Jay just ended the team's  three-game winning streak  last Thursday. They took  a  9-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The loss was the Titans' first of the season.
 Southwest Legacy wouldn't let Jay keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles.  Jose Mancillas was the leader in that area as all came courtesy of his dominant performance. He is also on a roll when it comes to  total tackles, as he's  now  made five or more in the last ten games he's  played dating back to last season.  Eli Sanchez was another major factor on D,  picking up  a  sack and making 11 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
 Meanwhile, Cigarroa was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They lost to South San Antonio at home  by a   24-7 margin.
 Having lost for the first time  this season, Southwest Legacy  fell to 3-1. As for Cigarroa, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
 Southwest Legacy skirted past Cigarroa  10-7 in their previous matchup  back in September of 2023. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was  Cigarroa's  Armando Mata, who picked up 52 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 63 yards. Now that he's  got a second chance to win this matchup, will Southwest Legacy still be able to contain  Mata? There's only one way to find out.
