Softball Recap: Lighthouse Private Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Booker T. Washington last Monday, Lighthouse Private Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Lighthouse Private Christian Academy Stingrays came up short against the Laurel Hill Hoboes on Thursday, falling 18-6. The Stingrays haven't had much luck with the Hoboes recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Hannah G made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Mykialiah S, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Lighthouse Private Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Laurel Hill, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Lighthouse Private Christian Academy will look to defend their home field on Friday against Bay at 5:30 p.m. As for Laurel Hill, they will take on Paxton at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
