Basketball Recap: Eldorado Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Eldorado can now relate to. They took a 56-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Frankfort Redbirds on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Redbirds: they've now lost four in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Eldorado lost, don't look at Maddex Rash. Despite the final result, he went 9-for-11 en route to 20 points. Rash has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jordan Jones, who shot 45% from the field to rack up 10 points and seven rebounds.

Eldorado's defeat dropped their record down to 9-19. As for Frankfort, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-23.

As of now, neither Eldorado nor the Redbirds have any future games scheduled.
