Softball Recap: Lisbon Comes Up Short

Lisbon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 25-4 to the Valley City Hi-Liners.

Ryatt Wertman made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiera Maus, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Lisbon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Valley City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Lisbon will venture away from home to square off against Enderlin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Valley City, they will welcome Northern Cass at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
