Flag Football Recap: Southwest EC Comes Up Short

Southwest EC was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 24-0 to the Calexico Bulldogs. The shutout was out of character for the Eagles seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Southwest EC's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Calexico, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Coming up, Southwest EC will welcome Holtville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will be up against the Vikings' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.53 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Calexico, they will head out on the road to square off against Imperial at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
