Football Recap: Westview's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Westview waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They enjoyed a cozy 50-32 win over the Fallbrook Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Wolverines, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Westview's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Matthew Guimond led the charge by throwing for 445 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 81.5% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Guimond a new career-high in passer rating (161.7). Evan Levine did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 114 receiving yards.

Westview didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Charles Jaskowiak and Miles Miranda. With that strong performance, Jaskowiak is now averaging an impressive 5.3 total tackles per game.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Harrison Jones, who rushed for 44 yards and one score.

Westview's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Fallbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Westview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fallbrook, they will host Valhalla at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
