Pyramid Lake has gone 8-2 against Mineral County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Lakers will venture away from home to square off against the Serpents at 12:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Jazmin Serrato stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Aveline Blinco, who scored three runs while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.

Pyramid Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Mineral County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.

Everything went Pyramid Lake's way against Mineral County in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Pyramid Lake made off with a 16-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lakers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
