Basketball Recap: Stark County Takes a Loss

Stark County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 52-14 loss at the hands of the Princeville Princes. The contest marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Kenna Newton was Stark County's leading scorer, having posted four points.

Stark County's loss dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Princeville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-12.

Looking ahead, Stark County will take on Annawan at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Princeville, they will face off against Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
