Basketball Recap: Lincoln County Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Lincoln County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-53 heartbreaker at the hands of the Towns County Indians. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Lincoln County's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-4. As for Towns County, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Lincoln County has already played their next contest, a 62-40 victory against Washington-Wilkes on the 21st. As for Towns County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 50-43 win against Hayesville on the 21st.
