Basketball Recap: Memphis Business Academy Beats Memphis Rise Academy for Their Seventh Straight Victory

Memphis Business Academy extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Larry Benson. The Memphis Business Academy Execs breezed by Memphis Rise Academy to the tune of 100-39 on Wednesday thanks in part to Benson, who shot 10-for-12 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 41 points and 11 assists. His evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Teryck White was another key player, going 5 for 9 on his way to 14 points along with six rebounds and six steals. He is becoming a predictor of Memphis Business Academy's success: when he posts at least five steals the team is 9-2 (and 2-3 when he doesn't).

Memphis Business Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.7 points per game. As for Memphis Rise Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-5.
