Baseball Recap: Tahlequah Takes a Loss

Tahlequah suffered their closest loss since March 7th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Booker T. Washington Hornets by a score of 3-1. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hornets earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

Tahlequah's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-5. As for Booker T. Washington, they moved to 3-12 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Tahlequah will square off against Wagoner at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wagoner will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Tahlequah surely won't give up without a fight. As for Booker T. Washington, they will venture away from home to face off against Lincoln Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lincoln Christian will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
