Soccer Game Preview: Franklin County vs. Seneca

The Franklin County Lions will head out to take on the Seneca Bobcats at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Seneca will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Franklin County extended their winning streak to three last Friday. The Lions put the hurt on Hart County with a sharp 5-1 win. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Franklin County were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Pickens kept up with Seneca until halftime on Friday, but afterwards: not so much. The Bobcats were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Blue Flame. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Seneca is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four games. As for Franklin County, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-8.
