With a playoff win on the line, Greensburg rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They blew past the Triton Central Tigers 6-3. The result was nothing new for Greensburg, who have now won seven contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Triton Central with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ethan Smith (4), Wyatt Yake, and Bryson Chilton.

The victory (which was Greensburg's third in a row) raised their record to 11-5-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those three matchups. As for Triton Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12-1 record this season.

Greensburg will challenge New Castle at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. New Castle will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last. Triton Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
