Baseball Recap: King Comes Up Short

King managed to slip by John Paul II the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The King Brahmas came up short against the John Paul II Centurions on Friday, falling 11-1. The Brahmas just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

King saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylon Everett, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

King's record now sits at 1-12. As for John Paul II, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 4-2-1.

Looking ahead, King will look to defend their home field on Friday against Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. As for John Paul II, they will challenge New Braunfels Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
