Soccer Recap: Berkmar Comes Up Short

Berkmar lost against Brookwood back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Berkmar Patriots lost 8-0 to the Brookwood Broncos. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 277th, while the Broncos are ranked sixth).

Berkmar's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Brookwood, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Looking ahead, Berkmar will challenge Duluth at 5:30 p.m. on March 21st. Berkmar is facing Duluth at the right time seeing as Duluth is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Brookwood, they will face off against South Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
