Baseball Recap: Skyline Eagles vs. Viewmont Vikings
Skyline had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Viewmont Vikings as they made off with a 6-0 win. The Eagles not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 13th (when they won 7-0).
Rhett Hamilton looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
At the plate, Cole Muse was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Skyline is 3-1 when Muse posts two or more runs, but 6-15 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Abe Wilson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.
