It was a good run, but Archer City unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. The match between them and the Windthorst Trojans didn't end well, with the Archer City Wildcats falling 44-27. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Archer City's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-12. As for Windthorst, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Archer City is taking a road trip to square off against Petrolia at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Windthorst, they will challenge Electra at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
