Volleyball Recap: Shelby Comes Up Short

The Shelby Tigers came up short against the Covenant Christian Chargers on Thursday and fell 2-0.

Shelby was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21.

Shelby's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Covenant Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Coincidentally, Shelby and Covenant Christian will both be playing Zion Christian the next time they take the court. The Chargers will host the Mountaineers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
