Beaver beats Gunnison Valley for their seventh straight win

The Beaver Beavers entered their tilt with the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Beaver took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 42-0 victory over Gunnison Valley. Considering Beaver has won seven matchups by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Beaver to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tate Gale, who rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Bodie Wheatley was another key contributor, throwing for 144 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.

Despite the loss, Gunnison Valley still got an impressive performance from Pearson Judy, who rushed for 147 yards. Judy hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for four straight games.

Beaver's win was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 10-1. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.56 points. As for Gunnison Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Beaver will face off against Kanab at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Gunnison Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
